This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

I was not impressed. The picture was not on the whole mug the way the picture shows.

Grinding stones are an important tool for us Native Americans. We use them to grind corn, acorns, spices, and many other food items to prepare them for cooking. I have many of them in my home. I still use a grinding stone often. I thought they would make a great Still Life Value drawing because they are a sacred item in my culture. Although, it is said they are an item from the past indeed many traditional Natives like myself still use them.
In the beautiful city of Big Rapids Michigan tucked away in my studio is where you will find me creating. I am a traditionally, cultured Native American Fine Artist who draws inspiration from the history within the tribes. I truly enjoy working with oils, watercolors, charcoals, and pastels. My subjects range from florals, figurative, landscape, animals, etc… With my passion of history, I enjoy learning techniques and styles from the Masters of Fine Art.
