Description
Birch Bark Canoe Reflections is a painting I did out of watercolors and coffee. Traditionally, birch bark canoes are a key factor of our Ojibwe life. Our Ojibwe tribe still uses these canoes in today's modern day. Birch bark canoes are light weight and easy to carry making the harvesting of manoomin (rice) and giigoonh (fish) an easier process.
